“Dabo The Reasons to Celebrate as Carrefour Uganda Celebrates its 2nd MyCLUB Anniversary.
Carrefour Uganda, owned and operated by Majid Al Futtaim in Uganda, proudly marks the 2nd anniversary of ‘MyCLUB’, its loyalty program, with a festive celebration themed “Dabo: The Reasons to Celebrate.” The loyalty program was launched to offer customers the opportunity to shop for less using accumulated points and has since become a cornerstone of Carrefour’s customer engagement strategy, making every shopping experience more rewarding.
“Since its launch in August 2022, ‘MyCLUB’ has empowered our customers to maximize their savings through a simple and effective points system. Members earn points on their purchases, which can be redeemed to pay for shopping and enjoy exclusive deals. This anniversary not only celebrates the success of the program but also our deep appreciation for the support and loyalty of our valued customers,” said Mr. Christophe Orcet, the Regional Director for East Africa at Majid Al Futtaim Retail.
The Dabo: The Reasons to Celebrate campaign is running from 21st August to 3rd September 2024. During this period, customers will stand a chance to win points that can be converted into cash when clearing their bill at the counters, in addition to exciting offers on select items in-store.
There are up to 100,000,000 MyCLUB points up for grabs when a customer shops for UGX 100K or more, with 50,000 instant points for customers who sign up for MyCLUB and make a transaction at any of the Carrefour supermarkets: Carrefour Acacia Mall, Carrefour Oasis Mall, Carrefour Village Mall, Carrefour Victoria Mall, Carrefour Lugogo Mall, Carrefour Metroplex Mall Naalya, and Carrefour Arena Mall.
The MyCLUB loyalty program has built a strong community of loyal members of over 58,000 customers and in an exclusive interview with Mr. Christophe, he echoed that the MyCLUB program was crafted with the customer in mind as an appreciation for the immeasurable support they have shown over the years.
