Carrefour Uganda Marks Fourth Anniversary with UGX 57 Million in Rewards for Shoppers

Carrefour, the exclusive retail brand operated by Majid Al Futtaim in Uganda, is set to celebrate its four-year milestone in the country with an array of exciting rewards and discounts for its customers. The celebration, running from January 31 to February 13, 2024, promises shoppers the chance to win up to UGX 57 million in cash prizes.

As a token of appreciation for customer loyalty, Carrefour will be gifting UGX one million daily to four fortunate MyCLUB members over the 14-day celebration period. This initiative adds up to a total of UGX 56 million in rewards, showcasing Carrefour’s commitment to creating value for its loyal patrons.

In addition to the cash giveaways, shoppers can indulge in substantial discounts of up to 50% across diverse categories including groceries, fresh food, electronics, appliances, and homeware. Engaging competitions with instant prizes are also on the agenda for shoppers eager to maximize their savings.

Carrefour is inviting its customers to join the celebration through a unique social media challenge, #C4anniversary. Shoppers can record a 30-second video expressing birthday wishes to the retailer, visit any Carrefour store in Uganda, and share their videos on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter using the designated hashtag. The video with the highest engagement and views stands a chance to win a cash prize of UGX one million.
